How To Download A Video From YouTube

You should download YouTube videos and save them in your account before placing them on your website. This will prevent them from Disappearing from your website in Addition to bringing your website traffic.

You can also use this method to download Videos from other websites such as: MetaCafe, Vimeo, DailyMotion and many more.

Downloading A YouTube Video To Your Computer

1.  When you have found the video on YouTube, select the Page Address at the top with your mouse, then right click, then click 'Copy'.
 
 


 

Go To KeepVid.com

Next, open a new internet window and  Go To: http://www.keepvid.com/
 
1. Click inside the URL box, then right click, then click 'Paste' to paste in the Page Address of the YouTube video.
 
2. Click the 'Download' button. 

You may need to download Java to do this.

Download To Your Computer

1. Once you click your Video type, a box will appear asking if you want to open or save your file. (this may appear at the bottom of your screen or as a pop-up window). Click 'Save As' so you can now save it to your computer.
