When writing content, keep in mind always be sure to create an income for yourself. This video shows you exactly how to do it.
1. When you write an article and put it up on your website, search engines like Google will find it (which is called crawling).
Once Google crawls it, your article is then indexed and available for online searches.
2. The more articles you write that are targeted at your website's main keyword phrase, with the articles also supporting related keyword phrases, the more likely your articles will be displayed by the search engines.
3. Make sure you are clear on your ultimate goal.
Which income path have you identified?
Are you writing an article to target high paying keywords or referrals?
If so, your article should not give everything away. Identify issues or problems the reader may be facing and mention how your or a company you know can solve their problem.
For example, if you are writing an article about 'Pet Insurance'. The first thing that you would do is to identify the consumers' main problems or frustrations in buying Pet Insurance. In your article you would then mention you know how solve one of their problems and they can click on a link to be directed to your website for the answer.
4. If your goal is to get visitors signed to for your newsletter, make sure you let them know that you are regularly addressing similar issues.
How To Write Your Website Article
1. When writing articles, your first priority is to make sure you have a specific audience in mind. Your goal is to grab their attention, read your article and get them to take action.
2. Don’t forget to ask yourself …..What are the frustrations or problems your target reader is facing? Make sure your content truly helps the reader so that you build trust with this potential customer. You then pull them into your sales funnel, is it you or someone you are referring who will solve their problem?
3. Your content should be different and unique: When articles are not original content, the search engines may not pick them up. This is called a “duplicate content penalty”. The links inside a’ duplicate content’ article don’t hold the same value as a link inside an original article.
4. Your website articles can be any length. Most articles are between 350 and 100% words.
5. You will find that people copy articles from your website. Most of the time they will not link your article back to your website and give you credit. Therefore, try to include a link within the article to another relevant page within your website.
For example, if I was writing an article on Why Dogs Should Always Wear Collars, in the article, I would include a link in the words ‘dog collar’ to a page in my website where I am selling dog collars. This will create a link on the page and bring visitors back to my website.
Also, because the sentence will not make sense without the words ‘dog collar’ it will more than likely not be removed by the ‘article thief’.
6. Another way to do this is by including your name (with link) as an authority on the topic in the article whenever it makes sense.
7. Add an interesting picture to your article. Go to
FreeStockPhotos.biz to get some interesting pictures. There are a number or free microstock sites, you just need to Google 'free photos' and check them out. Make sure you know what kind of site you are on as many charge for downloading pictures.
8. Finally, sit back and read your article and imagine it appearing on someone else’s website….would you change anything?
